Lophos Notes

Terms and policies

Last updated: May 7, 2026

Using the product

By accessing the Lophos Notes website or using the beta product, you agree to use them lawfully, responsibly, and in a way that does not interfere with the service, the website, or other users.

You are responsible for the content you create, store, export, or share using the app. You should not use the product for unlawful, abusive, infringing, or harmful activity.

The product is currently offered as beta software, which means features, behavior, availability, and system requirements may change over time without prior notice as the product evolves.

Privacy and data

Your notes are intended to stay on your device unless you explicitly export, share, or sync them through tools or services you control.

We do not position this site or beta as a cloud-first notes service. The core product direction is local-first, with an emphasis on user control over personal data.

The website itself may process limited technical information required for normal operation, security, debugging, and basic hosting administration, such as server logs, device or browser metadata, and similar operational records.

If you contact us by email or request beta access, we may keep the information you send for communication, support, and beta coordination purposes.

Beta expectations

Beta software can be incomplete, unstable, or subject to regressions. Keep your own backups and do not rely on preview builds as the only storage location for important material.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent compatibility, or the preservation of every feature currently present in the beta. Some capabilities may change, be removed, or be replaced as the product matures.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the beta and website are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind.

We may update these terms and policy notes over time. Continued use after a published update means you accept the revised version.

Intellectual property and feedback

The Lophos Notes name, branding, website, and product materials remain the property of their respective owners, except where third-party rights apply.

If you send feedback, suggestions, bug reports, or product ideas, you agree that we may review and use that feedback to improve the product without any obligation to compensate you.
